John Gregory is facing an FA rap for the second time this season following comments he made at the Leicester game. Gregory has been charged with misconduct after remarks he allegedly made to the fourth official Mr. D'Urso during the 3-1 defeat to the Foxes. Gregory has escaped any trouble following his after match comments on the ref though, admitting at the time he thought his comments would merit him a fine. Gregory received a 2,000 pound fine from the Newcastle match on the opening day of the season, when the then fourth official Jeff Winter complained about remarks made from Gregory. Mr Winter was the man in charge of the Leicester Villa game last Saturday. Southgate, following the first red card of his career, is also facing an FA charge of misconduct following comments made to the referee. Southgate was sent off for 'holding' Heskey back twice although this wasn't a clear cut decision either time and sparked a war of words between the Villa and Leicester manager, Martin O'Neil. |
