Aston Villa striker Stan Collymore and his agent Paul Stretford have parted company after five years.

CSI Public Relations have revealed they are taking care of the former Liverpool striker's public appearances, after his split from Proactive Sports Management.

Collymore intends to take care of as much of the playing side of matters as possible, along with his solicitor. CSI's Zara Reid said: ``I think at this stage of his career Stan feels he could handle things himself, as a lot more players seem to be doing.''
