Aston Villa manager John Gregory will once again be back in touch with Roy Hodgson of Blackburn Rovers with renewed interest in Rovers hit man Chris Sutton.

With Blackburn about to complete the 6 1/2 million pounds transfer of Dion Dublin from Coventry, Gregory feels he may be able to prise away his target with the prospect of 4 first choice attackers now available at Rovers.

An initial offer of 8 million was refused for the 29 year old former Norwich star, but an extra 2 million could this time swing it for Gregory
