Draper gives Gregory ultimatum (Nov 23)
Mark Draper has given Villa boss John Gregory an ultimatum over his future at Villa park .

Draper has played only a bit part of Villa's campaign this season, and is unhappy that he is still out of the Villa first team.  He claims if he doesn't get his first team place back he will walk out of Villa.  Ricardo Scimeca has already been transfer listed at his own request, after failing to break into the Villa impressive defense.

Julian Joachim has also admitted he is 'cheesed off' at his lack of first team football despite a promising start to the season.

Draper said: "I've been a professional for 11 years. I've missed the odd game but this is the first time I've been dropped for any length of time. It's a frustrating situation and I am very disappointed.

"When I signed the new contract in the summer I thought I would play more of a role. I think I've done well in the games in which I have played and I am disappointed not to have been involved more often.

"I want to play first team football and all I can say is that if things don't change then I will have to see the
manager.

"I think I am good enough to play in the side - but I have to think about my future."

The twenty-eight year-old ex Leicester City player, a £3million capture for then manager Brian Little added: "I was in the England squad just over two years ago and if I am ever to regain that place I have to play regular football."
