Gregory set to sign U21 International keeper (10 Nov)
John Gregory is preparing for life without Mark Bosnich after the recent arrival of two keepers on trial.

Bosnich is set to leave in the summer on a free transfer under the Bosman ruling, with claims he has already signed to join Manchester United in the summer of 1999.

Gregory said: "We are assessing two very highly-regarded goalkeepers because we must be ready to respond should Mark decide to leave the club next summer. Petr will be here until we decide what we are going to do, but there is no doubt about the potential that he has"

Petr Enkelmen the highly rated Finish U21 international and Marcus Hannerman the 26 year old American are currently over here being put through there paces.

The 6ft 3" keeper Enkelmen looks the likliest to sign for Villa.

John Gregory rubbished rumours that he was preparing to offer a bid + Michael Oakes for Ipswich keeper Richard Wright.
