What are Villa lacking to beat the big teams??

Villa have shown time and time again an inability to beat the top teams in the Premiership.
Just why can't a supposedly big team like Villa regularly beat or at least threaten the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, or even outside teams like Liverpool?

The main reasons why you thought this are below.

It was a fairly even vote, and these are all things that hopefully Gregory will look to address in the near future.

The problem area comes as no real surprise:- everybody (except Gregory) is clear that we need a creative midfielder and top striker.

People overwhelmingly voted as the midfield as the main trouble spot. Attack came as the second hot point to be looked at, are you listening John?
