Comment: Will Doug Ellis be chairman by christmas? he bloody well shouldn't be!

Name: Edson Arantes Do Nascimento

Comment: Doug Ellis needs to retire and sell up to a Midlands billionaire with a passion for Villa. We need to move near the NEC into a 700000 capacity ground The VILLA Stadium with Hotels ,Restaurants,Shops a la Merry Hill i.e. think big, outgun MAN.Ure and become the AC Milan of the Midlands.

Name: Michael Smart

Comment: When is John Gregory going to play Paul Merson from the start of a match?? He is the only player with any real vision in the team and he makes things happen.

Paul Merson is a world class player

Name: Jartza

Comment: The new keeper, Peter Enckelman, is fantastic!

Name: Graham Cavill

Comment: i think villa should reshape ther midfield i think we should play 5 at the back 2 in midfield and play 3 upfront. I think gregory should also buy greame le saux or carbone.

Name: Andreas Broström Ling

Comments: If Aston Villa needs a good goalkeeper its three choices
1.Magnus Hedman (Coventry.The new Smeichel)

2.Mattias Asper AIK Stockholm (A big goalkeeper who can handle a transfer to the Villans.

3.Richard Wright Ipswich (Dont let United get him)

Do You Like Aston Villa ?: yes

Comment: I think this season is the season for villa. Gregory has done a fantastic job. All the players are doing a fantastic job to. I have been going down the villa now for around 14 years and this is the best squad we have had. One of the best things Gregory has done is get rid of the likes of Savo and Sasa. That pair did nothing but put villa in shame. Carry on the way we are and we will win the title with ease. Up the Villa !

Name: Terry Larkin; Perth, Australia

Comment: I believe that most of the fans of English football would want us to claim the title if their own team fails.
This is due simply to the British core of the squad and the slow but steady resurgence of Englands' national team. Villa should buy Sol Campbell next, whatever the price. He is as good at the back as any frontline striker in the country. Bye for now,
UP THE VILLA!!!

Comment: I think that the first team is definitely good enough but the strength of any team is in it's squad - yet anybody who can't make the first team seems to want to leave - this never happens with man utd or arsenal - so come on squad players stay committed to the villa's title challenge

Comment: The comments from other managers and the press to the performances of Villa reminds me of 1980, and my sincere opinion is that since Brian took control we are playing the most technical and impressive soccer in England.  With the strengthening of the attack, our chances are fair.  But the season is long... We will certainly be in the top four.  But luck still plays a part in soccer.  My biggest hope is that Stan the Man can realise some of his potential.  On his day he is, by far, Englands best soccer player.

Name: ADRIAN

Comment: I think oakes is completely crap he can never replace Bosnich.
I also think that collymore is in his best form since he joined villa.
I also think that villa will win the league this season our at least get into the champians league.
