| Aston Villa have agreed to extend the
loan spell of striker Darren Byfield to Preston North End for a second
month.
Byfield has struggled to get into the first team set-up at Villa Park this season due to the competition for places in attack. He has had just two first team outings for Villa during the current campaign, against Stromsgodset in the UEFA cup and Chelsea in the Worthington cup. |
